I’m very pleased to announce the release of Kiosk IO for the Patient IO platform.

Over the last year, we’ve experienced first-hand how challenging it can be to deploy solutions to patients in the point of care setting. From training nurses to educating patients, finding time to do it effectively can depress utilization of patient engagement programs.

How It Works

kiosk-appKiosk IO is a new way to invite patients into your digital engagement program. It can be installed on a tablet and placed in a public waiting room, or on the personal device of a clinician’s assistant. Kiosk IO is prohibited from accessing protected health information.

It’s easy as 1-2-3.

  1. Patient (or provider) types their name, email address, and selects a care plan.
  2. Patient emailed a secure link to create an account.
  3. Patient IO’s automation goes to work.

Default plans can be defined such as a discharge survey or health assessment to make the process even faster.

Supported Kiosks

There are hundreds of kiosk stations now available for Apple and Android tablets ranging from $100 – $1,000+ depending on the footprint and functionality. When developing a patient engagement strategy, consider marketing at the point of care. Kiosks are a great solution while saving money and the environment from paper waste.
