Cybersecurity is always evolving and there are always new things to learn. One example is the cybersecurity mini-course which Ms. Kim presented at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA’s) annual conference earlier this week. Another example is the HIMSS18 HIMSS-CHIME Cybersecurity Forum on March 5, 2018. In the meantime, we encourage you to get involved and engaged in our HIMSS cybersecurity community with our unique and in-depth monthly cybersecurity webinars—open to all

Ms. Kim also led the development of an article called “Don’t leave your front door open to attack” published in GCN on November 20, 2017. In part, it is a reflection on the evolution of the Internet, connectivity, and the cybersecurity risks that we all face. This article takes a multi-faceted approach to cybersecurity: good cyber hygiene and cybersecurity awareness information for end users who work at Federal agencies and best practices and tips for IT managers. Now is the time that we all take charge of cybersecurity. We all have a role to play and we need everyone on board to stay ahead of the threats of today and tomorrow.

We can do these things by learning as much as we can about cybersecurity.
